SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS
Trauma-informed Yoga
These yoga sessions offer hatha-inspired, gentle movement and guided reflection at a pace that feels safe and invitational. You are always invited to choose what feels right for your body, reclaiming agency and presence rather than pushing toward a shape.
Body-Mind Coaching
Drawing on somatic coaching principles, this work helps you notice your bodily, emotional and interpersonal patterns, and explore what you want next in your life. Somatic coaching invites choice, presence and forward movement in ways that feel embodied and grounded, helping you feel steadier, more confident and oriented toward what matters most to you.
This work might help you
feel more present in your body
feel steadier and centred in your body under pressure
feel more able to respond rather than react
feel more self-trust and confidence
be more able to make decisions without second-guessing yourself as much
notice when you are overwhelmed and recover more quickly
feel more at home in yourself, even when life is demanding
Let’s work together
I offer both 1-1 sessions and small group spaces (by arrangement).
If this feels like something your body and nervous system are asking for, get in touch, I’d be honoured to meet you there.
Who this is for
This approach is especially supportive if you:
have a history of trauma and want gentle, choice-based support
identify as neurodivergent and/or feel out of sync with conventional yoga or coaching approaches
are tired in a way rest alone doesn’t fix
carry a lot together, it could be stress, tension, overwhelm, burnout, transitions…
want to deepen your self-connection
Testimonials

“I liked that we were encouraged to ‘listen to our bodies’ and act accordingly (rather than try to push ourselves to perfect the poses immediately). As a teacher, Joanna was excellent: motivating, supportive and friendly. Each session was a pleasure to join - thanks so much!”
